Kristin Frazer is a bundle of creative energy and is one of the most likeable and genuine people I know. I have been tracking Kristin’s career for many years, and have showcased her in the BVI Welcome Guide, the magazine which I published and edited for 30 years, on numerous occasions. We featured one of her dresses on the cover; the model shot on Long Bay Beach, one of the BVI’s most iconic locations. Kristin’s BVI Spring Regatta swimwear show was one of this international event’s most popular activities. And when the camera caught Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy wearing Trèfle swimsuits, we featured Kristin in the Welcome yet again. Our BVI girl had made good and we were proud.

Meet Kristen
Pert and trendy, and with an engaging personality, British Virgin Islands-born Kristin has had writeups in “Marie Claire”, “Ebony”, “Essence” and “Martha Stewart Living”.
Kristin’s roots are in retail and design. Her grandparents owned and operated Clover’s, a variety-style store, selling fabric, notions and brand name shoes. “I inherited my sense of design from my mother and grandmother,” she says with pride. “It was organic for me.”
After studying fashion and design in Tampa, Kristin went on to internships with Carolina Herrera and BCBG in New York City, an invaluable experience that laid the groundwork for her own work in design: New York chic combined with a Caribbean based aesthetic. Her vision, she explains, is universal: “bold, bright, colorful and tasteful.”
Trèfle Designs, founded in 2008, brings a bright and breezy focus to Kristin’s resort and swimwear lines. Bold prints, and graceful cuts enhance the figures of women of all ages, and her home décor line (TrèfleHome) brings a splash of color to homes and apartments around the globe. In addition to her home décor and fashion lines, Kristin is now working on launching an active wear collection (Trèfle Sport). Although her present trajectory is international, Kristin says her heart will always belong to the BVI, the place that is her source of inspiration and where it all began.
