Who knew? World Happiness Day was last week!
To mark the occasion, The Economist published an article about new Gallup polls that reveal some surprising trends. For decades, research has shown that people around the world start to feel happier at around the age of 60, and life satisfaction continues to increase with age. However, one might expect that a pandemic would have changed that.
In fact, the opposite was true: Silvers’ happiness scores actually improved in 2020 compared with the last polls taken in 2017-2018. When the pollsters figure out why, we’ll be sure to let you know!
