She introduced us to so many artisans and creative showings in her rural town of Blairstown. Along the way, we met Jana O’Connor and gleaned her genuine kindness and the spiritual nature that seemed to resonate from her. It is no surprise that she crafts a collection of Sterling Silver jewelry with aspirational and inspirational messaging. We happy to introduce hand-stamped gifts straight from her studio to our HipSilver family.
About This Designer
In 2004, I began making jewelry to express love and hope to myself, my family, and my friends. After taking classes in metal-smithing at the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, I was hooked on melting and playing with silver! If I were to choose one word to describe my jewelry, it would be emotional. I make every piece from the heart, with my whole heart, and that love is transferred to my customers. It is not uncommon for people who buy my jewelry to take their piece right off their necks or wrists to give to a friend who needed encouragement in the moment.
I believe words are a powerful way to lift spirits! My personal inspiration comes from music, reading, friendships, and above all my love for God! My hope is that whoever wears what I create will look at their piece and feel loved! - Jana O’Connor
