A Delicious and “Healthy” Chocolate Dessert!

This weekend, many people will be gathering with family and friends for either Passover seders or Easter dinners, and neither of these has been known historically to be health-oriented events.

But, if you know me, you know that food is pretty important to my life, and I don’t believe we should deprive ourselves of yummy goodies during holiday times. So, it’s been a real treat in recent years (pun intended) to discover recipes that are really delicious without being really bad for us.

Probably one of my favorite examples of this is “my” Chocolate Tart recipe. (I didn’t create this one, but have made it often enough that it’s considered mine, and friends now request it when I offer to bring something.) The best thing about this recipe is that it’s amazingly good. But on top of that, it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and can even be kosher for Passover, which is why I’m sharing it here as a dessert recommendation for both this week’s seders and Easter dinners.

I am sharing the recipe link here, and note that the tapioca starch option as a thickener can make it kosher for Passover. Feel free to leave out the salt, I don’t think it’s needed, and notice how wholesome most of the ingredients are. It’s also really easy….

Sending many blessings to you and your family for a beautiful holiday.
