The Drive-in Theater is back! Planning can be a fun and entertaining experience. We can all think back to the 70s and early 80s and the enjoyment of going to the drive-in theater. These summer days, we are enjoying a resurgence in outdoor movie presentations. Our thought is that we can dress up an evening for a movie with a beautiful picnic dinner and a little romance - all while enjoying some safe social distance-time under the stars.
As the enduring coronavirus pandemic forces us all to reconsider our vacation plans and focus on activities closer to home, alfresco entertainment alternatives are becoming more popular. And in this topsy-turvy world, nostalgic drive-ins more than half a century after their heyday in the 1950s, are once again in vogue. These pandemic-friendly sites—set on large outdoor lots where attendees stay inside, or next to, their cars—are experiencing a resurgence.
