Finding Self Esteem...

Every new year, we start out with the promise of setting new goals and an idyllic path to reach them. We thought we would let the month of January go by and focus on self-esteem in February.  We all know that nobody's perfect and that self-esteem is an integral part of what makes us thrive rather than just survive. So let's dive right into a few good books and self-esteem-boosting practices.

We have discovered a wealth of books from brilliant writers that are intuitive, thoughtful, and notable in Self Esteem development. We recommend three titles as "No Such Thing as the New Normal," focused on mental health. "Power Hour" how to change your life in one hour a day, or "The Confidence Solution: Seven Steps to Confidence," inspire us rebuild our Self-Esteem.

As members of the Silver Generation, we often spend numerous hours taking care of others, not paying enough attention to our self-care practice, and listening to our inner voices. We can do anything by being in the moment, by accepting who we are, and then sharing our experiences with each other.

These authors inspire us to take stock of ourselves. With a few acknowledgments of your weak spots, you should be good to make it through any of life's curveballs.
