Welcome to the greenhouse and repotting tomato plants with Organic Gardener John Henry Cox.

His plants are grown from seed, and he is repotting them big beef and sun gold tomatoes. He says, "I use recycled Greek yogurt containers, drill holes in the bottom and add my local dirt and mix with potting soil for growing little tomatoes. Next, I add water with diluted fish emulsion to give the plants a substantial nitrogen boost, and they will take off, add some bone meal, a little Epsom salt, and calcium from our discarded winter eggshells. It is the calcium powder that prevents the blossom end rot. I like to grind up our eggshells in a blender and make the powder for the garden."

These are my recommended steps to healthy tomato plant transplanting! Happy gardening season, Silvers.
